A helpful host helps to accept shortcomings..
The host's daughter was very helpful and friendly...and because she was so nice and ready to help, we could not stay upset for long. The location was good, too. From the balcony we had a lovely view of Gwangan beach and bridge. We could hop onto a bus and using our Metro card, travelled to all the places using the Metro and bus system. The near-by convenient stores were useful for a quick run-down to get stuff we needed..even a fast late night supper.
The lack of hooks to put up our clothes, especially in the second bedroom. The singular coat rack in the main bedroom was insufficient for us to hang up our clothes and coats. The very rough and small bath towels. The many things left behind by the owner which took up precious space in the already small areas of storage we had. These included half-used toothpaste, half-used soap, bath scrub, hairbrush, wet washcloth(!), a whole messy bottom drawer in the kitchen and a few strands of long hair in the rooms. As a guest, these gave me an uncomfortable feel as I would never use someone's toiletries. The constantly buzzing and biting mosquitoes. The singular electrical mosquitoe repellent was not working. The noise from the street. The lack of help to check in - as a result we could not figure out how to use / understand many of the stuff in the apartment.
